The China-based Gevey had successfully unlocked iPhone 4 baseband 2.10.04, 3.10.01 and even 4.10.01. It was also reported that the Turbo SIM is fully compatible with USA’s T-Mobile network. No jailbreaking is required for this SIM to work. The full demo of how this SIM works can be seen on this video.

Apple will surely patch this exploit in the next iOS update, which is rumored to be version 4.3.1 and to come out in the next two weeks or so.
